WIK Group

Global rebranding for industry-leading eco-technology innovator WIK Group. We rethought the brand from the ground up: starting with a branding workshop in Switzerland to identify the company's mission, values and vision, which were then translated into a new claim and design language including logo, typography and colors. All elements were then translated into a complete digital relaunch.

The WIK Group is a global technology company with over 6000 employees. The company's thinking and actions are geared towards a 100% circular, sustainable economy. We were commissioned to rethink the entire corporate image in order to do justice to this orientation and to consistently design and communicate this image in all media.
Strategic Brand Development
In a workshop in Switzerland, the corporate values and the core orientation of the company were identified and the brand personality defined together with the company management. Based on this, Schirmbeck & Hartmann developed an overall strategy for the WIK Group, which also formed the basis for the further, comprehensive elaboration on a content and visual level.
Claim Development
Based on the values and objectives identified, we developed the company's new claim, which succinctly summarizes both the company's field of activity and its objectives: a future in which technology adapts to nature and integrates itself into the natural cycle in the form of sustainable circularity.
Brand Design
We developed a new brand design for the WIK Group based on the identified values: from the font classification to the logo development and the definition of the corporate colors in digital and analog space to the corporate imagery. The duality of technology and nature is also taken up in the design.
WIK Labs Subbrand
As part of the branding process, we identified the need to create a specific space for innovative ideas in the field of sustainable technology within the WIK Group. This gave rise to the WIK LABS entity: an entity within the company that also visually emphasizes the dynamic and forward-looking elements with a specially developed signet and a typography modification.
Print Design
The developed brand design naturally includes applications in the print sector: the corporate colors based on PANTONE values enable a holistic presentation in corporate brochures and business stationery.
Website Re-Launch
As part of the overall strategy, we translated the corporate values into a fully customized website that fits seamlessly into the overall brand design and was optimized for a wide range of viewports. In addition to design and usability, performance and sustainable hosting were also taken into account.
